Stock Controller

Description	As Stock Controller your role will see you take charge of the day to day management of our stock control system, consisting of approximately 5000 different lines. The ideal candidate will be familiar with handling large quantities of small items, have a proven track record in stock control, excellent attention to detail and the ability to work to a high degree of accuracy within a very fast-paced wholesale / retail environment. Your aim will be to maximise stock control efficiencies and customer service levels. Positions available in our Enfield, Mitcham and Park Royal branches.

Experience	It would be an advantage if you have previous experience of effective warehousing and stock control, however full training will be given.

Candidate specification

Responsibilities	The effective maintenance of stock management system to ensure physical stock accuracy is maintained Compliance with stock audit requirements Investigating and correcting stock discrepancies Maintaining the Company’s procedures and systems Monitoring stock performance Producing stock reports and statistics Working closely with store management teams Review and resolve stock transactions between store and warehouse

Technical skills	Excellent communication skills High level of numeracy Good computer literacy Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages

Salary	Salary negotiable, depending on experience.
