His awards include ‘The Best Performance Award’, ‘Best Young Looking Award’, ‘Best New Comer Award’, ‘Best New Make Singer Award’, ‘Best Potential Best Looking Award’ and ‘Top 10 Most Popular Artist. 

Being a famous male artist ensured Chi Lam a place in acting as well. He has appeared in numerous TV soaps such as, ‘Peak of Passion’, ‘The Mysteries of Condor Heroes’, ‘Remembrance’, ‘The Legend of Condor Heroes 1994’, ‘The Ching Emperor’, ‘Cold Blood Warm Heart’, ‘Return of the Cuckoo’. He was also in a series of brilliant films like ‘Right Here Waiting’, ‘Just Married’, ‘Tragic Commitment’, ‘Option Zero’ and ‘The Suspect’ etc, which brought his career to a new height.
