Tempura Prawn
served with wasabi sauce

Ingredients:

Cooking Method:

  1. Mix the tempura batter with water thoroughly

  2. Heat oil in pan

  3. Sprinkle flour over the prawns

  4. Dip prawns in tempura mixture and then deep-fry them in the pan of oil until the batter turns a light brown colour

  5. Remove tempura prawns from pan and place on kitchen towel to absorb any excess oil

  6. Serve with wasabi sauce

Tip:  Try swapping the prawns for squid rings or vegetables for an interesting take on this popular Japanese dish!
