Beef with Green Pepper and Black Bean Sauce

Black bean sauce is a very popular condiment in Chinese cuisine.  In case you have never come across it, it is actually made from fermented black soy beans.  It is strong, exotic and has a salty taste.  It adds texture and richness to the dishes.  Combined with tender beef fillets and green pepper, it is a delicious, full-flavoured dish.

Cooking Method:

  1. Slice beef into thin pieces and mix with seasonings. Marinate for 30 minutes

  2. Heat oil in wok, stir-fry ginger and garlic; mix with the sliced beef, shallow fry until the surface of the beef turns golden, save for later use

  3. Heat oil in wok, stir-fry green pepper with Yang Jiang black bean, mix the beef and sauce together, wait to boil
